"My Dream,My Future"

My Dream, My Future

My future
If you ask me this question in my childhood, I would say:" I want to be a teacher, a doctor, a business woman and so on". But now if you ask me this question, I will tell you I have three dreams, to be a respected person, life very colorful and beautiful, and have a great job.

First, I want to be a respected person. I know many people want to be a famous person because they think maybe many people will adore and respected them, but in my opinion, I want to be an ordinary and not ordinary person. The reason why I want to be an ordinary because I want to be a low-pitched person, and the reason why I want not to be an ordinary because I want to do things very high-key. I also know if you want to be a respected person first you must respect the other people and respect yourself.  I want to have a great job. This job must to be interested because I can do every things very exciting. That job must can give me more colorful and feeling.

I have a lot of dreams for the future. I hope the dream can become true. To do a good job for today is the most important now. Future career is just a goal for me to work hard. I know everyone has own dream, so I hope your dream also comes true

The province is set to hold the 7th Kannawidan Ylocos Festival from Jan. 29 to Feb. 9 this year to mark the 195th founding anniversary of the province of Ilocos Sur. The Kannawidan Festival was first initiated by then Governor Deogracias Victor “DV” Savellano in 2008 to mark the 190th founding day of Ilocos Sur. “Our festival this year will feature competitions in traditional choral singing, rituals, beauty search, painting, fashion show and zarzuela (opera) Ilocana,” Governor Singson said.

Several sporting events are also up like horse racing, fun run, amazing race competition, kite boarding in Magsingal town; dragon boat racing and Frisbee challenge to be held at the pristine beaches of Cabugao town; practical shooting, motorcycling show and racing competition; and awarding of the top barangays of the province. Singson said that Ilocos Sur’s culture and traditions are well known, well-preserved and will always be fun and enjoyable to watch. Governor Singson is also set to launch “Sure Ilocos Sur” as part of his tourist agenda noting that all what the tourists want to see can be easily seen and experienced in the province.

The festival not only brings us takes one back to the roots; it also enables one to look into the future through art created by children. Their art speaks of their belief in the beauty of the world as gift from the Creator. Their songs and dances outshine any sadness  this present world has thrown at them.

"New Year, New Me"

New Year, New Me

Around this time of year, there are a plethora of motivational quotes and photos encouraging a fresh start and a new you. Traditionally, this is the time
In 2014, I have some high hopes and aspirations. There are many things I left undone in 2013 that I plan on tackling this year. And as I sit in reflection on the past and dream for the future. A New Year marks the death of the old and birth of the new which is a very exciting time for most people. I am sure you have seen numerous New Year resolutions on facebook, in blog posts or from friends filled with declarations of change.

Every single year, I set myself resolutions, and every single year there’s at least one that is completely over the top and that I am challenging myself to try and achieve. Every single year, without fail, I end up either forgetting about my resolutions completely until about halfway through the year, when I remember and then make a half-hearted attempt to achieve them in any way possible, or I just don’t actually achieve them. So, this year I won’t be one of those people who says “new year, new me” because I don’t particularly want to be a new me – I like the current me just fine, I’d just like to tweak her a bit and a little more confident!

The power of positive thinking really has been working. This year I decided to cut all bad habits and really work on a new me. I do take time to reflect on the past and look forward and plan for the year to come. I see a new me in the near future!
