Dear Mr. President,
First and
foremost, I just want to greet you a good day, sir. This is Jamie Glaidel
Adora, a student of Ilocos Sur National High School, Gomez St. Barangay VII,
Vigan City, Ilocos Sur. I wrote this letter because I want to ask about the
increasing of the payment in our electric current here in the entire Ilocos Sur.
Before we used to pay 2000 pesos per month, now we are paying 9000 pesos for
what we consumed in electric current. Why it increases a lot? How can we pay
that amount if we are budgeting just enough for our family? Is it because of
the climate change?
Yes sir, we all know that every season, especially in summer
season, we are absolutely consuming a lot of electric current because of the
climate, because of the hotness of entire surrounding or environment. But, what
I'm pointing is that, since we are not the same, I mean some of us doesn't have
that much money for the increased payment, are we not considered or maybe are
we not given a discount, not only for our sake, but also the entire nation?
Maybe
this simple but meaningful letter of mine will not make you bother, despite of
all the problems that you are encountering now. Just for the sake of us, sir.
